Overview
Danube bridge called Friendship Bridge is a steel truss bridge over the Danube between Rousse and Giurgiu.
Its length is 2.80 km and passes at an altitude of 30 meters above the water. It is built on two levels - for trains and cars. The middle part (length 85 m) can be raised and misses big ships. The bridge is one of two bridges over the Danube river border between Bulgaria and Romania.
